DESCRIPTION OF WORKIn this Licensing and Certification Evaluator, you will be responsible for evaluating advanced educational and experience requirements, determining eligibility and processing applications for initial and reactivation licensure, and assisting in continuing education audits for licensing Boards. Work involves: Handling telephone and electronic inquiries daily while providing courteous customer service. Reviewing and evaluating various applications to ensure compliance with laws and regulations. Promoting positive interactions and demonstrating teamwork within the Department. Using independent judgment when determining licensure eligibility and prioritizing workload. Communicating effectively both verbally and in writing Interested in learning more? Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 50% upon successful completion of probation period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITYQUALIFICATIONSMinimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of experience as a Clerical Assistant 3 or Clerk Typist 3 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); orOne year of complex clerical experience; orAny equivalent combination of experience and training.
