Senior Product Designer

Senior Product Designer Employment Type: Contract | Hybrid Location: Seattle, WA About the Role This role is for a senior, hands-on product designer who excels in execution and delivery. You’ll embed into established product teams to design and ship customer-facing experiences within an existing product strategy and design system. Success in this role means ramping quickly, collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners, and reliably delivering polished, production‑ready design on clear timelines. Key Responsibilities Deliver end‑to‑end design for scoped product initiatives, including flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI Execute design work within an established design system and product patterns, flagging gaps when identified Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Content Designers to clarify requirements and iterate quickly Incorporate feedback from reviews, research, and experiments to keep projects moving on schedule Communicate progress, risks, and trade‑offs clearly to cross‑functional partners Document design decisions and provide clean handoff to engineering and long‑term product owners Required Qualifications 7+ years of product design experience, with a strong track record of shipping customer‑facing work Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality UI under defined scope, timelines, and constraints Expert‑level proficiency in Figma, including designing and prototyping complex workflows Experience working effectively within an existing design system rather than redefining it Strong collaboration, written communication, and stakeholder alignment skills Ability to ramp quickly in unfamiliar products and deliver meaningful work within the first few weeks Eligibility to work in the United States and work onsite in a hybrid capacity in Seattle Preferred Qualifications Prior contract or agency experience delivering production product work Background in fintech, payments, or transactional consumer digital products Experience designing for global audiences, accessibility, or localization
