Licensed Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a *Part-time* Counselor to provide onsite mental health counseling to residents in nursing homes and assisted living facilities.Our clients may have various mental health diagnoses, trauma, grief, and adjustment issues, primarily elderly but also adults of all ages.This role involves offering ongoing emotional support in a facility setting, addressing feelings of abandonment and trust, with progress developing over time.There is *no on-call* requirement, and work is during regular business hours—no weekends, nights, or holidays.Ideal candidates have an active LMHC, LMFT, or LISW license in Iowa and enjoy working with the elderly population.Pay ranges from $35.00 to $37.00 per hour.Benefits include a flexible schedule and professional development assistance.
