Advanced Licensed Massage TherapistWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Advanced Licensed Massage Therapist to join a dedicated healthcare team in the Midwest region. This role focuses on enhancing patient well-being through therapeutic massage services designed to promote relaxation, alleviate pain, and support overall recovery.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver personalized therapeutic massage treatments aligned with individual care plans.Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical and emotional health to tailor treatment approaches.Develop and implement customized massage therapy plans addressing specific patient needs and conditions.Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.Educate patients on the benefits of massage therapy and complementary wellness practices.Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and address any contraindications.Ensure a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment by following all health and sterilization protocols.Manage scheduling efficiently, respond promptly to communications, and adapt to a dynamic work environment.Education and CertificationHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Valid and current massage therapy license or certification as per state regulations.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.Completion of Mandatory Reporter training within six months of hire.Experience and SkillsMinimum of 2 years of experience in a massage therapy setting, preferably within a clinical or healthcare environment.Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, and trigger point therapy.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.Commitment to patient-centered care and strict adherence to confidentiality and privacy standards.Physical ability to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodations.This position offers part-time hours, approximately 18 per week, with varied days and evenings.
