Your expertise in Node.js and MongoDB, coupled with additional desirable skills, will drive the platform's evolution and functionality. Collaborating with our dedicated team, you will leverage technology to maintain and extend the client's leadership in their industry group. Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable backend services and APIs for the engineering platform using Node.js.Lead MongoDB integration and optimization efforts, focusing on platform performance and scalability.Work alongside front-end developers and system architects to ensure a cohesive user experience across the platform.Implement software development best practices, including code refactoring, unit testing, and continuous integration to maintain code quality and application performance.Engage in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.Explore and integrate new technologies and methodologies, such as AWS for cloud services and graph databases for complex data relationships.Stay abreast of the latest trends in software development, network engineering technologies, and microservices architecture to enhance the platform.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.Minimum of 6 years of extensive experience with Node.js, specifically in developing scalable web applications and APIs.Demonstrated proficiency with MongoDB; experience with graph databases is highly desired.Strong skills in code refactoring, unit testing, and ensuring code quality through best practices.Knowledge of Unity (game engine) is considered a strong asset.Proven track record of conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.Solid understanding and practical experience with microservices architecture is desired.Experience with AWS and familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure is desired.Proficiency in Angular or other front-end technologies is highly desired.Experience with TypeScript is a plus.Ability to work in an evolving environment and collaborate effectively with a team.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies quickly.Required Skills : NodeJS, MongoDB, API's, Unity (Gaming Engine) Full-Stack NodeJS DeveloperBasic Qualification :Additional Skills :Contract to Hire (will convert between 6-12 months)Background Check : YesDrug Screen : NoNotes :Selling points for candidate :Contract to Hire (will convert between 6-12 months)Project Verification Info :N/AExclusive to Apex :YesFace to face interview required :NoCandidate must be local :NoCandidate must be authorized to work without sponsorship ::NoInterview times set :YesType of project :Master Job Title :
