Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) Developer

Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) solutions for enterprise eCommerce platforms.Build and customize SFCC storefront functionality using best practices for scalable and maintainable solutions.Develop integrations and APIs connecting SFCC with external systems such as OMS, payment gateways, inventory, and third-party services.Implement and enhance UI components to ensure responsive, high-quality user experience.Optimize storefront and application performance including page load time, rendering, and backend processing.Develop and maintain SFCC components such as controllers, pipelines, hooks, and services.Ensure seamless integration between frontend storefront and backend systems.Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and defect resolution across development and production environments.Support release cycles, deployments, and post-release stabilization activities.Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and performance standards for commerce applications.Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver user stories end-to-end.Maintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and custom developments.Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of SFCC platforms.Collaborate with UX, QA, backend, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong experience in Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) development.Proficiency in JavaScript and SFCC frameworks (ISML, controllers, pipelines, hooks).Experience in building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs for integrations.Strong knowledge of eCommerce architecture and storefront development.Experience in performance optimization of high-traffic commerce applications.Hands-on experience in debugging, issue resolution, and production support.Familiarity with CI/CD, deployment processes, and release management.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Strong understanding of UI development and responsive design principles.Good problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
