American Traveler is hiring a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) with 5+ years of experience for a 13-week night shift contract in an acute care Sleep Lab setting.Job Details• Acute care hospital Sleep Lab setting,• 3x12-hour night shifts, approximately 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM,• Allscripts EMR used in this position,• Operates Alice 5 and/or Alice 6 polysomnography equipment,Job Requirements• Minimum of 5 years of polysomnography experience required,• Current BLS certification required,• RPSGT or RCP credential required,• License required if applicable,• Proficiency with Alice 5 and/or Alice 6 polysomnography equipment,• Experience with PAP titration, electrode/sensor application, and AASM scoring rules,• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English,Additional Information• Responsibilities include reviewing patient histories, applying electrodes and sensors, performing calibrations, monitoring and documenting sleep stages and clinical events, performing PAP titrations, and scoring patient acquisitions per AASM rules,• Prepares draft reports for interpretation by the Medical Director,• May perform pediatric sleep studies including ETCO2 hookup and scoring of all pediatric data depending on experience level,• Participates in departmental meetings, in-services, and annual policy reviews,
