Polysomnographic / Sleep Tech Location: Show Low, AZ Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,253 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist Profession: Sleep Technologist Specialty: Sleep Study Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 5 years License: Required Certifications: BLS Certification, RPSGT Must-Have: Operational knowledge of office equipment in the Sleep Lab. Knowledge of department-specific equipment, including polysomnography systems. Service-oriented with excellent customer service skills. Strong computer, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills. Professional interpersonal and time management skills. Ability to prioritize work and demonstrate proper telephone etiquette. Proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English. Description: This position requires reviewing patient histories, medications, and procedures. Electrodes and sensors must be applied accurately. Perform appropriate calibrations and gather data acquisition while monitoring. Document observations, including sleep stages and clinical events. Perform PAP titration per protocol and/or policy and procedure. Complete data documentation and remove wires and sensors as required. Communicate effectively when faxing reports to physicians. Clean rooms and areas as required. Display proper etiquette and mannerisms reflecting core values. Promote Patient Safety Standards as a core value of the organization. Score patient acquisitions using the latest AASM rules. Prepare draft reports for interpretation by the Medical Director. Perform pediatric sleep studies with understanding of relevant techniques. Complete necessary preceptor courses and be willing to train new staff. Communicate with equipment providers to ensure updated supplies. Organize the sleep schedule for approval by management. Participate in departmental and association-wide meetings and seminars. Review policies and procedures annually. Perform other duties as assigned. Scans and mails paperwork as needed.
