The Legal Receptionist will handle front desk responsibilities, including managing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, maintaining office organization, and greeting clients. Additional duties include processing legal documents, coordinating with attorneys and staff, and ensuring efficient communication within the office. This position requires a professional and personable demeanor and excellent organizational skills to maintain the office’s day-to-day operations effectively.QualificationsStrong knowledge of legal terminology and basic understanding of law to assist with document preparation and administrative tasksExcellent Communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal communication, to interact effectively with clients and legal professionalsProficiency in Legal Document Preparation and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirementsProfessional Phone Etiquette and ability to manage incoming calls with courtesy and confidentialityExperience with Receptionist Duties, including scheduling, organizing files, and handling client inquiriesProficiency in using office software and equipment, such as Microsoft Office SuiteCapability to multi-task effectively and prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in law or administrative support is a plusBilingual abilities (preferred but not required)Demonstrated professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive client information
