This position plays a critical role in ensuring pallets meet safety, quality, and production standards prior to repair and customer delivery.Hours & Pay:Monday - Friday1st Shift 6 am to 3:30 pmPay rate- $18.00 per hourKey ResponsibilitiesOperate handheld grinders and related power tools to smooth pallet deck boards, stringers, and blocksRemove protruding or exposed nails, splinters, and rough edges to meet quality specificationsPrepare pallets for repair in accordance with company and customer standardsPerform visual inspections after grinding to verify safety and quality complianceIdentify pallets that require additional repair or removal from productionMaintain grinders and tools in proper working conditionFollow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of required PPEKeep the grinding area clean, organized, and free of hazardsMeet daily production and efficiency goals while maintaining quality standardsCommunicate any equipment issues or safety concerns to supervision immediatelyQualifications & SkillsPrevious experience operating grinders or similar power tools preferredAbility to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive physical tasksStrong attention to detail with a focus on quality and safetyBasic mechanical aptitudeAbility to follow instructions, procedures, and safety guidelinesDependable, team-oriented, and strong work ethicWork EnvironmentIndustrial pallet repair facilityExposure to wood dust, noise, and debrisRequired use of PPE, including safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, and a safety helmetJoin us today!Terzo Enterprises Incorporated is an Equal Opportunity EmployerWe participate in E-Verify to confirm the identity and employment eligibility of all new hires.
