Director, Shopper Marketing Location: Culver City, CA Duration: W2 Assignment Through December 4, 2026 (Potential to extend/convert) Pay Rate: $104/hour Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Director of Shopper Marketing to lead the development and execution of data-driven marketing strategies across key digital retail partners. This role is responsible for driving integrated shopper marketing programs that enhance customer engagement, optimize digital merchandising, and deliver incremental revenue growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep experience in digital retail marketing, strong cross-functional leadership skills, and a proven ability to translate insights into impactful go-to-market initiatives. Key Responsibilities Shopper Marketing Strategy & Execution Lead the design and execution of innovative marketing programs across major digital retail platforms Develop scalable, insight-driven campaigns to increase visibility, conversion, and revenue Own retailer-specific strategies, aligning business priorities with partner capabilities and promotional calendars Oversee end-to-end campaign development for new releases, ensuring alignment across the full content lifecycle Translate data and consumer insights into actionable strategies that drive performance and growth Go-To-Market Strategy & Innovation Define and communicate go-to-market strategies for new releases across internal stakeholders Lead ideation of innovative marketing initiatives leveraging platform capabilities, emerging trends, and audience insights Create executive-level presentations outlining strategy, priorities, and expected outcomes Identify and pilot new promotional opportunities, merchandising tactics, and program formats Cross-Functional Leadership & Execution Partner with teams across marketing, sales, digital, creative, and analytics to ensure cohesive campaign execution Oversee execution of digital merchandising and marketing assets, ensuring quality and timeliness Collaborate on asset development, metadata, and digital deliverables to support discoverability and performance Partner & Stakeholder Management Serve as a key liaison to external digital retail partners, supporting joint business planning and growth initiatives Align with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of strategic priorities Lead communication of marketing strategies and performance updates across teams Brand & Portfolio Alignment Support marketing efforts across multiple content labels or business units Develop tailored strategies that reflect unique audience segments, brand positioning, and release strategies Qualifications 8+ years of experience in shopper marketing, digital marketing, or media Strong background in digital retail, streaming, or transactional platforms preferred Proven experience developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data for decision-making Excellent project management and organizational skills Exceptional communication and presentation abilities Preferred Experience Experience with digital content distribution platforms (e.g., transactional, streaming, or on-demand ecosystems) Background in lifecycle or promotional marketing Familiarity with digital merchandising, metadata, and platform optimization strategies
