About the Job21491-1 Industrial Engineer Level 3, Ocala, FL (No Clearance)DESCRIPTIONChampion a facility-wide 6S (Sort, Set-in-order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain, Safety) and Value Stream Mapping transformation that embeds Lean Manufacturing into every daily activity, eliminates waste, and drives maximum utilization of space, equipment, and people.Core Responsibilities:6S Program Leadership:Design, launch, and sustain a top-to-bottom 6S initiative across the entire plant.Conduct baseline 6S audits, set visual standards, and create daily/weekly/monthly audit cycles.Develop and enforce 6S policies, checklists, and signage that are easily understood at all employee levels.Workflow & Layout OptimizationMap current value streams:Redesign work-stations and equipment layout to support 6S-driven flow and cellular manufacturing.Eliminate unnecessary motion, transportation, and inventory through compact, organized work cells.Waste Identification & EliminationLead Kaizen events focused on the "6S wastes" and Value Stream Mapping:Quantify cost savings and productivity gains from each 6S and/or Value Stream improvement.Training & Culture Building:Coach teams to own and sustain 6S practices.Build real-time dashboards to track progress and drive corrective actions.Continuous Improvement Governance:Maintain a suggestion system for frontline 6S ideas.Facilitate regular 6S review meetings and celebrate successes to reinforce cultural change.Job Details:Must be US CitizenNo Clearance4/10 Work Week1st Shift$62.26/hr.Duration: 6/8/2026-6/8/2027Non-ExemptContract PositionWorkerwill work Onsite Full TimeMANDATORY:Minimum 5 years experience leading 6S/5S programs in large-scale manufacturing.Minimum 5 years experience Demonstrated success in redesigning plant layouts to support 6S and Lean flow.Minimum 5 years experience Demonstrated success in facilitating Value Stream Mapping workshops.Minimum 5 years experience with CCA Manufacturing.Minimum 5 years experience with Cable & Harnessing Manufacturing.DESIRED:Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification.
