Apply via Dice today!RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Level 2 Mobile Developer iOS to join their team on a 12-month contract to hire basis.Summary:The iOS Developer is responsible for leading and driving agile scrum teams forward. As a Lead iOS Developer, you'll collaborate with internal teams and 3rd party partners to develop customer-facing mobile applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. You may eventually be responsible for overseeing a team of iOS developers. This role will be primarily hands on development, but may also include strategy, mentoring and training. This role will be responsible for the daily maintenance and delivery of mobile applications, including meal planning and eCommerce apps.Key Responsibilities: Lead and participate in the design and implementation of large and/or architecturally significant applications Champion company standards and best practices. Work to continuously improve software delivery processes and practices Develop programming specifications. Design, code and unit test application code using Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices Work with Product team to plan new features, gather requirements and propose solutions Acquire and interpret business requirements, creates a functional specification, and determines the most efficient/appropriate technologies Research and implement new interface development techniques Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support) Establish development best practices and growth of mobile applications standards Help foster a culture of innovation and out-of-the box thinking Support and maintain applications utilizing required tools and technologies Assist other folks on assignments including mentoring or providing on-the-job training to more junior associatesREQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience developing iOS Apps (focus on Swift, but knowledge in Objective-C, xCode) Experience with Swift/SwiftUI, Github, JIRA Prior experience with project planning with large size or highly complex projects Ability to work with new technologies while showing drive, adaptability, and creative thinking A solid understanding of mobile application development processes, from the layout/user interface to backend systems and API integrations A solid understanding and appreciation for Agile and Scrum tools, processes, and methodology Top 3 skills - Swift UI/Swift, GitHub, JIRA, Objective-C, Agile and Scrum Excellent communication, willing to pivot within role, comfortable working independently Prior iOS Developer Lead experience a plusThe pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
