Accounting ManagerBentonville, ArkansasCB Partners is partnering with a growing organization to identify an Accounting Manager to support the financial and operational activities of multiple business entities across a broad range of disciplines. This role serves as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing leadership, oversight, and strong technical accounting expertise.The ideal candidate is a hands‐on accounting professional who enjoys process improvement, mentoring team members, and partnering closely with Finance, HR, and business leaders to support accurate reporting, sound controls, and scalable operations.What You'll Be Responsible ForServe as a key financial advisor to assigned clients, managing relationships and providing guidance on financial reporting, forecasting, and budgetingPrepare and analyze complex financial statements, including consolidated reports and supporting schedulesMonitor and manage cash balances and activity, collaborating with internal teams to ensure accurate data entry and timely paymentsSupervise, delegate, and partner with Accountants and Staff Accountants to maintain accuracy and meet reporting deadlinesDeliver comprehensive financial reports and analyses, tailoring insights and supplemental information to stakeholder needsPartner cross‐functionally to develop financial packages, presentations, and customized reporting solutionsCoordinate with colleagues to support a variety of finance and accounting initiatives and special projectsTrack operational activity and compile detailed supporting documentationPrepare journal entries related to payroll, depreciation, investments, and other financial areas as requiredAssist the tax team with compliance efforts and tax return preparationProvide financial schedules and data to internal departments as requestedEvaluate existing processes and present recommendations to management for efficiency and improvementParticipate in mentoring, training, and performance reviews to support team developmentPerform additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental goals and organizational objectivesExperience & Education15 years of progressive experience in accounting and financeExtensive accounting expertise with a strong command of financial principles, reporting, and analysisMaintains a solid technical foundation, remaining hands‐on with accounting standards, systems, and detailed financial workWe are an equal opportunity employer and our company is committed to building and maintaining a culturally diverse workplace.
