The Battle Creek plant is also unique as it is home to the original barn where C.W. Post started the Postum cereal company in 1895. The Battle Creek team has deep community roots, supporting the city's Cereal Festival, The Post Foundation, and participating in several volunteer events throughout the year.ResponsibilitiesOverviewJoin our Battle Creek plant leadership team as our Senior Food Safety Quality Assurance Manager, where you’ll own plant-wide Quality and Food Safety and play a key role in driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.What You’ll DoLead all Quality Assurance & Food Safety programs, ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory standardsOwn HACCP and food safety systems, driving continuous improvementPartner with Operations & Engineering to strengthen processes and food-safe designLead internal, customer, and regulatory audits, including corrective actionsDevelop and coach a high-performing QFS teamMonitor performance metrics and turn insights into actionable improvementsWhat You BringStrong leadership experience in food manufacturing (quality or food safety)Deep knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory requirementsProven ability to influence cross-functional teamsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to translate data into actionQualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related fieldExperience10+ years in food manufacturing3+ years of people leadershipPreferredHACCP certification, PCQI or SQF Practitioner eligibilityExperience with audits and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
