Below are some of the responsibilities you can expect to undertake in both inpatient and outpatient settings:For General Gastroenterologists:Diagnosing and managing a wide array of gastrointestinal disorders.Conducting routine endoscopic procedures, such as colonoscopies and upper endoscopies.Providing patient education, guidance on disease prevention, and support for health maintenance.For Gastroenterologists with Advanced Skills:Diagnosing and managing complex gastrointestinal issues using advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods.Performing ERCP procedures to treat conditions affecting the bile ducts, pancreas, and gallbladder.Utilizing EUS examinations for the diagnosis and staging of gastrointestinal tumors and managing pancreatic and biliary disorders.Working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care and coordinate multi-disciplinary treatment plans.Qualifications:Essential qualifications for the Gastroenterologist role include:Graduation from an accredited Medical School.Possession of an active New York Medical License.Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Gastroenterology.For Advanced GI: Completion of subspecialty training in Advanced Endoscopy, including ERCP and EUS.About Us:Our commitment to the community is central to our mission.
