The Digital SAP Manager - Supply Chain will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of SAP solutions as part of our Digital Transformation journey. This role is responsible for aligning SAP capabilities with business goals across planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, logistics, and distribution. The manager will collaborate closely with Master Data, OTC, Finance, IT, and external partners to deliver scalable, integrated solutions aligned with enterprise digital strategy. Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive everything we do.Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid or RemoteWhat you will do:SAP Supply Chain ManagementManage the design, configuration, and maintenance of all Supply Chain Processes in SAP (S4 HANA)Own the end-to-end SAP enabled supply chain lifecycle ensuring seamless integration across demand planning, supply planning, procurement, manufacturing, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and customer fulfillmentEnsure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, FI, etc.)Monitor and resolve data quality issues using SAP tools and third-party solutionsMaster Data Governance & StrategyDefine and execute SAP enabled supply chain governance frameworks with a strong focus on manufacturing operations, plant execution, and production controlEstablish governance policies, controls, and decision rights for production planning, materials management, shop floor execution, quality management, inventory control, and manufacturing logisticsOwn global manufacturing process standards and templates across SAP S/4HANA modules including PP, MM, QM, EWM, SD, FI/CO, and integrations with PLM and MESEnsure tight alignment between manufacturing strategy, capacity planning, cost controls, and SAP digital transformation initiativesGovern end to end manufacturing flows from product introduction and engineering change through production, staging, warehousing, and outbound fulfillmentEstablish governance for production master data and execution structures (BOMs, Routings, Work Centers, Production Versions, Recipes) to ensure accurate planning, costing, and executionDrive standardization and compliance across make to stock, make to order, engineer to order, and configure to order manufacturing modelsTeam Leadership & CollaborationLead a team of data analysts or specialists, providing guidance and performance managementPartner closely with Plant Leadership, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to ensure SAP solutions support real world manufacturing constraints and shop floor needsServe as the escalation point for cross plant and cross functional manufacturing issues, ensuring alignment between Digital teams, plant operations, and business leadershipProject & Change ManagementLead continuous improvement initiatives leveraging SAP to reduce downtime, improve throughput, optimize capacity utilization, and lower manufacturing costsManage change requests and ensure proper documentation and testingReporting & AnalyticsDevelop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor data quality KPIsProvide insights and recommendations based on data trends and anomaliesMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field6-8 years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP Supply Chain management, preferably in a global enterprise environment2-4 years of leadership experienceProven track record of leading SAP projects and managing cross-functional teamsStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead cross-functional digital transformation initiativesExperience with SAP S/4HANA RISE implementationExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsWork visa sponsorship is not available for this positionPreferred Skills:10+ years of SAP experience, with at least 3 years in leading SAP Supply Chain management, preferably in a global enterprise environmentSAP CertificationKnowledge of MM, SD, PP, EWM, TM, IBP, FI/COExperience working in multi plant, multi country SAP landscapesFamiliarity with Agile or hybrid project management methodologiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentDaikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributionsCompany provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverageShort term and long-term disability3 weeks of paid time off for new employees + 11 company paid holidaysVacation accrues on a monthly basis, unless applicable federal, state and local law requires a faster accrualPaid sick time in accordance of the federal, state and local lawPaid parental leave and tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceThe typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 - $171,700 (+ 15% bonus) in Minnesota.
