Take possession of a building. Turn it into a ready-to-operate school. Transfer it to operations and move on to the next location. You'll work in rapid cycles, transforming raw spaces into functional campuses, one city at a time. If you prefer high-velocity project delivery, this role is for you.2 Hour Learning operates schools that allow students to complete core academics in two hours daily, devoting remaining time to entrepreneurship, life skills, and opportunities absent from traditional curricula. The results are measurable: students ranking in the top 1-2% nationwide, advancing at double the standard rate. None of this happens without operationally sound facilities. Your role is to ensure every campus is fully ready—on schedule and within budget—across an expanding portfolio of micro schools, growth sites, and flagship vertical campuses in urban centers.Timelines are always tight. You'll move from building possession to opening day in weeks, not months. This requires orchestrating vendor tasks, monitoring dependencies in real time, and leveraging AI to resolve open issues before they create delays. After a campus launches, you hand the site to the operations team and begin preparing the next one. You'll begin with micro-campus projects—the most repeatable and fastest-paced work in the network. As the organization scales to include growth and flagship locations, the scope and complexity of your assignments will expand accordingly. When a school opens on schedule and students arrive on Day 1, your contribution will go unnoticed. That's success. Apply through our structured process: a cognitive assessment followed by a practical work sample. What You Will Be DoingOverseeing complete campus buildouts for assigned locations: directing FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) procurement and installation, interior construction, IT systems, signage, and playspace from possession through launchExecuting compressed project schedules tied to fixed opening dates: organizing vendor workflows, controlling project dependencies, and compressing timelines where necessaryManaging and approving vendor deliverables: issuing scopes of work, supervising on-site execution, verifying compliance with specifications, and formally rejecting substandard workApplying AI systems to produce vendor scopes, generate inspection checklists, monitor outstanding tasks, and create transition documentation — the pace of this role demands this approachDeploying standardized site activation procedures, confirming operational readiness at completion, recording structured site feedback, and preparing handoff materials for the operations teamWhat You Won’t Be DoingRunning ongoing facility operations once a campus is live: your role ends at handoff, and you move to the next buildoutExecuting installation or trade work yourself: you coordinate, inspect, and approve — not perform physical laborHandling real estate acquisition, permitting, or occupancy certification: those steps are completed before the building is assigned to youManaging a single project at a leisurely pace: micro-campus projects cycle quickly, and the pipeline is continuousNavigating ambiguous ownership or shared responsibility: every buildout has one designated owner from handoff to openingOperations Coordinator Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver fully operational school campuses on time and within budget, from building handoff through opening day.Basic RequirementsMinimum 2 years in operations, facilities, or project delivery rolesDemonstrated ability to identify and resolve a broken process, with quantifiable impact: reduced cost, shortened timeline, or improved qualityTrack record of owning a multi-phase project from start to documented completionProven vendor management capability: enforce quality standards and challenge contractors when performance falls shortExperience managing 2 or more concurrent projects or sites without losing control of deliverablesConsistent use of AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, or equivalent) to increase efficiency and maintain organizationLocated in the US and authorized to work without visa sponsorshipWilling to travel 60–80% of the time (3–4 days per week)Nice-to-have RequirementsPrior involvement in physical buildouts or site launches across any sector: retail, hospitality, healthcare, commercial offices, or related fieldsExperience in construction project management, tenant improvements, commercial fit-outs, or facilities oversightDirect or supporting exposure to FF&E coordination, IT deployment, signage installation, or commercial interior projectsFamiliarity with project management platforms (Wrike, Notion, Procore, Asana, Monday.com, or comparable tools) for task and timeline trackingAbout 2 Hour LearningEducation is broken, but 2 Hour Learning is proving it doesn’t have to be.
