All new hires will start training on FIRST shift and transition to SECOND after 90 days.Join our Menomonee Falls, WI team as a Test Technician. We are currently hiring people into level 3 and 4 positions. Your experience will determine level and corresponding pay. Preference will be given to those who have an active security clearance. All applicants must be a US citizen and have the ability to secure a clearance within a reasonable time after starting with the company.This role will perform standard testing procedures on a variety of equipment. You will provide technical support to engineers and manufacturing on a variety of complex components, devices, material, products, processes and/or equipment.What You Will DoWork from complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications and sketches including running test set-ups of significant complexityInterpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and test proceduresEnsure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulationsLead training for any team memberInterface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materialsLead a team to meet production deadlines and ensure quality of finished product (pass/fail rates)Diagnose cause of electrical, optical, mechanical malfunction, or failure of operational equipmentPerforms preventative and corrective maintenanceModify a variety of complex electrical prototypes in accordance to engineering instructionsSupport, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organizationSupport Engineering while utilizing industry best practices including but not limited to creating test fixtures, test set-ups, and evaluations of product and/or fixturesConduct developmental tests while ensuring safety of yourself and your teamEducation & Experience Requirements3-5 years experience and associate's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience in related testing environmentsIn order to be considered for a level 4 position, you must have a security clearance; all other levels require the ability to get a clearanceMust have experience in working with high power and medium voltage equipmentMust demonstrate strong decision-making, communication, and leadership skillsExperienced handling small delicate components, using ESD practicesExperienced in the use of various computer applications, specifically the Microsoft suiteMust have strong mechanical skillsSoldering and wire bonding experience a plusExperience with MRP is a plusU.S. Citizenship required.
