Engineering Technician

Job Description:Your Role on Our Team:We are looking for an Engineering Technician passionate about product development, quality control and reliability, and being hands-on. A typical Engineering Technician is responsible for supporting test development and execution while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.You'll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:CORE JOB FUNCTION: Choose an item.Conduct safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulationsExercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performedSupport New Product Development - Quality & Reliability teams through test execution, documentation, and data analysisMaintain agility and support multiple requests within designated projects while maintaining priority organization and efficiencyFollow work instructions and test fixture proceduresPrepare efficient test procedures from test specificationsPerform hands-on testing using a variety of electrical and mechanical test equipment and techniquesPrepare reports utilizing Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, databases, spreadsheets and statistical / graphical softwareParticipate in the improvement and development of testing, equipment, and documentsMaintain test procedures and equipment according to departmental proceduresSupport the purchase, transfer, and shipping of equipment and materialsContribute to organizational goals and objectives The TOOLS you'll bring with you:Requires an education equivalent to a technical Associate DegreeExcellent organization & communication skillsExperience with test equipment, test procedures and methods, technical writing, mechanical/electrical principlesHigh proficiency of Computer Skills and Microsoft Office productsKnowledge of test concepts in the design and development of products and components.
