This role ensures alignment with business objectives, market competitiveness, internal equity, and regulatory compliance, while driving a high-performance culture.Key Responsibilities Compensation ManagementSupport the development and maintenance of salary structures, job grades, and compensation bandsConduct market benchmarking and salary surveys to ensure competitivenessAssist in annual salary review processes, including merit increases, promotions, and adjustmentsPartner with HR and business leaders to design competitive offer packagesMonitor and analyze labor costs, salary budgets, and headcount expensesAdminister bonus programs, including annual and project-based incentives Performance ManagementSupport the implementation of performance management frameworks (KPI/OKR)Coordinate performance review cycles (monthly/quarterly/annual)Facilitate performance calibration processes to ensure consistency and fairnessTrack and analyze performance ratings and trendsEnsure performance outcomes are effectively linked to compensation and talent decisions Data Analysis & ReportingPrepare compensation and performance-related reports and dashboardsAnalyze workforce data, including labor cost, turnover, and productivity metricsProvide insights and recommendations to support business decisions Policy & ComplianceEnsure all compensation practices comply with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act)Support the development and communication of compensation and performance policiesMaintain accurate documentation and audit readiness HR Systems & Process ManagementMaintain compensation and performance data in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, SAP)Support system updates, process improvements, and data integrityAssist in automation and optimization of HR processes Business Support & CommunicationProvide guidance to managers on compensation decisions and performance managementRespond to employee inquiries regarding pay and performance policiesSupport change management initiatives related to compensation and performance programsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field3-6 years of experience in compensation, performance management, or HR analyticsExperience in manufacturing or fast-growing organizations preferredStrong analytical skills and proficiency in ExcelFamiliarity with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, SAP)Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compensation regulationsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with salary benchmarking tools (e.g., Mercer, Radford)Experience supporting bonus and incentive program designAbility to work in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environmentKey CompetenciesAnalytical thinkingAttention to detailBusiness acumenConfidentiality and integrityStrong execution and follow-throughWork LocationManteno, IL (On-site)Base pay is one part of our total compensation package at Gotion, and is determined within a range. This provides you with the opportunity to progress as you grow and advance your career at Gotion.
