More information about our company is available at www.griffinfluidmanagement.com and on our company's page on LinkedIn.Job SummaryPerforms hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting/assessment, and repair work on heavy equipment.Job ResponsibilitiesCleans, lubricates, and performs other routine maintenance work on all Griffin equipmentDismantles and reassembles pumps using hoists and hand tools, as neededOperate and inspect pumps to diagnose and trouble shoot problems ranging from mechanical to electricalOverhauls and tests machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiencyExamine parts for damage or excessive wear, repairing and replacing damaged or worn parts as needed, including replacing seals and or rebuilding the unitsTests mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer's specificationsKeep accurate records of all work performed, including parts used and labor hoursPerforms other related duties as assigned by managementMaintain a neat & organized work areaCommunicate effectively with customers and colleagues, providing clear and concise information and explanationsWork safely and efficiently, adhering to all Griffin Fluid Management safety protocols and best practicesJob Requirements3+ years pump and diesel engine repair related experience or equivalent requiredAbility to work independently performing in-depth technical equipment service and maintenanceCommitment to excellence and high standardsMust be able to interact with customers on a professional levelStrong oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to accurately take measurements, complete documentation to ensure quality craftsmanship, and reference proper standardsAcute attention to detail, positive attitudeAbility to manage priorities/workflow and multitaskPreferred ExperienceExperience with Caterpillar machines, pipeline specific equipment and pumps/pumping related equipment preferred but not requiredExperience with service programs such as CAT E.T & John Deere Service Advisor preferred but not requiredBenefitsFull-time employees are qualified to enroll in Griffin Benefits (health/dental insurance, disability, life insurance, Health Savings Account).
