Family Law Associate Attorney (Menlo Park or San Ramon)FLICKER KERIN, LLP has an opening in our Menlo Park or San Ramon office for a full-time family law attorney (office location determined by candidate's preference). Our firm has a strong reputation in the community for integrity and exceptional legal acumen, and our experienced attorneys dedicate considerable time to mentoring our employees, fostering their professional growth and development.Our comprehensive benefits package includes employer-subsidized health and dental insurance, paid vacation and sick time, a flexible spending account (FSA), a dependent care flexible spending account (DCFSA), and Health Savings Account (HSA), an employer-funded 401k/profit-sharing contribution, and opportunities to earn quarterly performance-based bonuses.ResponsibilitiesReceive assignments from multiple partners, effectively prioritize tasks, and manage multiple assignments simultaneously to meet deadlines.Independently make court appearances and manage family law hearings on behalf of clients.Work autonomously and collaboratively with paralegals, law clerks, fellow attorneys, and administrative staff.Communicate clearly, skillfully, and discreetly with clients, Opposing Counsel, experts, consultants, etc.Skills and ExperienceMust be licensed to practice law in California and should have completed 1 to 7 years of licensed family law experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required. Experience with Xspouse, Clio, Lawyaw, and Lawgic is preferred.Candidates must possess excellent research skills and comfort with numerous research tools (WestLaw, Attorney's Briefcase, online resources, and hardcover reference materials).Candidate should possess excellent writing skills to draft motions, pleadings, letters, memos, and other legal documents.Expected Hours of WorkAssociates are expected to work during the firm's regular business hours, 5 days per week, and be available for additional work when required by case load.Starting salary is between $120,000 and $180,000, depending on family law experience.
