Transportation Material Handling

Overview: May be assigned to operate Locomotive, Scrap Loader or Scrap cranes. Responsibilities: Work Safely and follow job procedures Inspections and minor maintenance of mobile equipment Operate any equipment to handle scrap metals, as directed Job specific training will occur upon assignment 1 year service required before bidding other jobs within SDI Any other tasks/duties asked of by Supervisor Qualifications: Required Ability to communicate effectively Preferred Scrap knowledge, heavy equipment experience Steel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
