Warehouse Associate

Position Overview:Warehouse Associate is responsible for all aspects of warehouse functions including the receiving, storing, handling, shipping and preparing of product for customer delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.Essential Job Functions:Understands the need for continued work-related educationKnows that work is subject to change; reacts positively and quickly to changePlaces a higher priority on organization’s goals than own personal goals, and contributes to help the team accomplish its goalDemonstrates honesty and keeps commitments, while adhering to team’s expectations and guidelinesParticipates in meetings, on time and alertAccepts responsibility for outcomesMaintains a strong work pace; overcomes obstacles to achieve goalsIdentifies safety issues and problems; reports or corrects unsafe working conditions and safety problems; checks equipment and work area regularlyReceiving department checks in material in a timely mannerReceiving department is to report any damaged material to the purchasing departmentReceiving department is to help the order fillers if time allowsOrder fillers will complete tasks with efficiency and accuracyOrder fillers will communicate any inventory issues with the warehouse managerOrder fillers and Receiving department must have complete knowledge of the use of the p21 RF gunAll warehouse staff is to greet customers with a positive attitude within a few minutes of them entering the warehouseAll warehouse staff is required to help with the cleanliness of the bins, shelves and warehouse floorAll warehouse staff is required to work with fellow employees as a teamRequirements/Skills/Abilities:High School Graduate or equivalentMust be 18 years of age or olderExpect to be able to lift - up to 70 lbsDetail-oriented with extraordinary problem-solving skillsExperience with RF scanners (desired but not required)Experience with Plumbing, PVF and Industrial products (desired but not required)Strong attention to detailDependableMust be able to work independently in a fast pace, rapid change environment
