Through events, education, content, and collaborations, we aim to make wellness more accessible, inclusive, and impactful while building community. This year, we are scaling the business to include more events, additional media sources, grow our in-person and online community, and increase brand partnerships. If you value health & wellness, grass-roots organizations, and community, The Wellness Takeover could be in alignment with you. Role DescriptionWe’re looking for a creative, social media-savvy intern to help expand our digital presence and storytelling across multiple platforms. This role is ideal for someone who understands internet culture, stays ahead of trends, and is excited about building a brand that blends wellness, media, and community. Additionally, this role is based in NYC, and we're looking for the ideal candidate to be able to travel to NYC for events and in-person meetings. QualificationsProficiency in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content CreationKnowledge of Digital Marketing and online branding strategiesExperience with brand strategy and crafting the visual look and feel of social media pages, including positioning and messagingExperience identifying and supporting brand partnership opportunitiesExperience in content creation (Reels, TikToks, short-form video) that creates conversation and actionHas great editing skills (Capcut, Edits, Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar tools)Strong Marketing and Communication skillsFamiliarity with content scheduling tools and platform analytics, such as Hootsuite or BufferCreative approach and ability to adapt tone and messaging for different social media platformsPassion for wellness and community engagement is a plusSelf-started with the ability to work independently in a remote environmentUses and understands Artificial Intelligence on platforms such as ChatGpt, Gemini, and Claude, etc.Understanding of how black, brown, and underserved communities are affected by health disparities, and why it's important to improve that.Enrollment in or recent completion of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldWhy Join Us: This is more than an internship - it's an opportunity to help shape a fast-growing brand while building real-world experience in content, education, marketing, and community-building.How To Apply Your resumeLinks to social media accounts you've created and/or managedPortfolio of any other applicable work (optional)A short note on why you'd be a great fit for The Wellness TakeoverLet's Build Something Impactful Together;This is an unpaid internship.
