Job Description We perform service calls, preventative maintenance, and installations of coffee equipment for all our customers. We specialize in many different espresso machines, brewers, and grinding equipment. We are one of the largest vendors in the nation helping keep the coffee world brewing. New hires begin riding along with a certified technician until they are enrolled in a certification class. We work with several different manufacturers.
Once trained and certified, you can then go out on your own with a work vehicle. Although the job is mostly independent work, we still work as a team to support each other. We also thrive to have great customer interaction, and to keep our customers satisfied. Technology has changed a lot, so we work on some of the most advanced equipment that requires lots of troubleshooting from time to time. Caffeinated Coffee Repairs is seeking a passionate individual with a love for coffee to join our team as a Service Technician. No technical experience is required; we welcome candidates with a genuine enthusiasm for coffee and a willingness to learn. Previous experience repairing appliances or experience as a barista is a plus but not necessary.
Responsibilities Repair commercial espresso, coffee brewing, coffee grinding, and water systems throughout an assigned territory
Foster strong customer relationships and inspire loyalty through professional and reliable service adhering to safety standards
Meet Service Level Agreement (SLA) requirements by conducting thorough inspections, timely maintenance, and accurate paperwork completion
Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
Skills and Qualifications Service mindset and passion for seeking customer satisfaction
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Enjoy coffee and tasting
Smartphone proficiency for inventory management, scheduling, and other tasks
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Must maintain a reliable smartphone capable of accessing required training, scheduling, and communication tools
Must have reliable transportation to and from work and training during the initial training period
