Wastewater Construction Estimator
As a Wastewater Estimator, you will be part of the business development team and will be involved in identifying opportunities, creating proposal packages and pursuing the opportunity to conclusion. Duties will include opportunity identification, bid / no-bid decision with the management, quantity take offs for assigned projects, requesting market pricing for various civil, mechanical and electrical items, putting together the proposal package, attending bid openings, pre bid meetings and putting together a qualifications package. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is ambitious and willing to put in the effort to grow with the company.Duties And ResponsibilitiesReviews proposal specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.Reviews and incorporate historical data from purchase orders, subcontracts, productivity analysis reports, etc. into unit price and manhour costs.Provides technical input regarding project and contract risks to lead estimator responsible for final bid price approval. Reviews final estimate to ensure defined work aligns with overall project schedule and cost goals.Prepares discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work.
