If you have a background in working with buses, trains, automobiles, military vehicles, heavy equipment, or aircraft, we want to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesWork with advanced electric vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell technology, troubleshooting electronic, electrical, and high voltage issues, and resolving them.Install electrical systems and components in transit vehicles.Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic equipment, working with PLCs.Repair or replace parts such as light fixtures, wiring, relays, motors, and other types of electrical equipment.Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using a variety of testing devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, and cable testers.Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.Qualifications3 years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or related fields.Experience with any of the following: buses, trains, automobiles, military vehicles, heavy equipment, or aircraft.Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuit testing, and PLCs for troubleshooting and general repair.High voltage experience and hydrogen training or certification preferred.General knowledge of transit bus/hybrid and/or electric drive systems is ideal but not necessary.Ability to interpret and make decisions on necessary repairs.Ability to read drawings and schematics and track work effectively.Excellent technical skills and solid customer service abilities.BenefitsPEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
