Sterile Processing Tech Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,350 per week Shift Information: Nights - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/11/2026 About the Position Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Sterile Processing Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 Hours (19:00 - 03:30) Experience: 3 Years in a Similar Facility License: Valid License Required Certifications: CBSPD or CRCST Must-Have: - Experience in Decontamination of all items, including drills, scopes, and assembly of instruments in all service lines. - Proficient in sterilization processes, including Sterrad and steam. - High-Level Disinfection (HLD) and scope experience. - Sterile Storage and Operating Room liaison experience. - Familiarity with Censitrac tracking system. Description: We are seeking experienced candidates in the field of sterile processing. The technician will work the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday from 7 PM to 3:30 AM, with occasional scheduled holidays. Candidates may be required to float to other locations as needed. Experience with the decontamination of all surgical items is essential. This includes instruments such as drills, DaVinci systems, and scopes. The role involves assembling instruments for all service lines, including trauma and loaners. Technicians will be responsible for the sterilization process, both Sterrad and steam methods. Experience with high-level disinfection and scope reprocessing is required. The technician will assist in sterile storage practices and be a liaison between the operating room and sterile processing. Familiarity with the Censitrac tracking system is preferred. The facility operates at a high volume and requires a proven track record in similar environments. All candidates must be prepared for an urgent credentialing process. Professional references are required, with at least one reference from a supervisory role.
