Open Scholarship Librarian
Description
Cornell University Library is seeking an Open Scholarship Librarian at the academic rank of Assistant Librarian . The librarian will support open scholarship, champion innovation, and ensure the accessibility and impact of research and educational materials within the Research Data and Open Scholarship (RDOS) group.
This role covers the entire scholarly communication lifecycle, working closely with Library staff and university partners to expand research visibility, promote responsible stewardship of research outputs, and advance open and equitable access to scholarly knowledge.
Responsibilities
Champion innovative ideas that enhance the accessibility and impact of research and educational materials.
Provide support to faculty, students, and staff across the full scholarly communication lifecycle.
Collaborate with Library and university partners to expand research visibility and promote responsible stewardship of research outputs.
Advocate for open and equitable access to scholarly knowledge.
Work independently, collaborate with colleagues, and adapt to changing business needs.
