The company specializes in medium- and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment, supporting utilities, substations, grid modernization initiatives, and large-scale infrastructure projects across North America.With increasing demand driven by electrification, utility expansion, renewable integration, and data center growth, the organization is investing heavily in engineering leadership and next-generation power distribution technologies.⚡ Position SummaryThis is a VP of Engineering role leading engineering strategy, product development, and technical execution across the company’s power distribution portfolio.The role will oversee engineering teams focused on utility and electrical infrastructure products including transformers, switchgear, protection systems, and related power distribution equipment. You’ll work closely with executive leadership, operations, manufacturing, and customers to scale engineering capabilities.⚡ Key ResponsibilitiesLead and scale multidisciplinary engineering teams across power distribution and utility infrastructure productsDrive engineering strategy, product development, and technical roadmap initiativesOversee design, manufacturing support, testing, and product lifecycle management for MV/HV electrical equipmentAct as the senior technical escalation point for complex customer and project-related challengesCollaborate with utilities, EPCs, consultants, and industrial customers on technical requirements and solution developmentPartner cross-functionally with operations, manufacturing, sales, and executive leadership to support company growth⚡ Required Qualifications15+ years of experience within power distribution, utility infrastructure, or electrical equipment manufacturingLeadership experience managing engineering teams within transformers, switchgear, substations, protection & control, or related power systemsStrong understanding of utility power systems, MV/HV electrical infrastructure, and grid applicationsExperience working cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and customer-facing teamsStrong commercial awareness with the ability to support technical customer discussions and strategic growth initiativesBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; PE license preferred⚡ Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary + performance bonusMedical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and PTOExecutive leadership growth opportunity within a rapidly scaling organization
