Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position based in Pittsburgh, PA, for a Skilled Residential Carpenter. The Carpenter will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing custom residential projects including framing, cabinetry, flooring, and trim work. Daily tasks involve reading blueprints, measuring and cutting materials, assembling and installing components, operating hand and power tools, assessing project needs, and collaborating with team members to ensure timely completion of assignments. Additionally, you will maintain a high standard of safety and craftsmanship while meeting project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in carpentry, including reading blueprints, measuring, and cutting materialsProficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, and other carpentry equipmentAbility to construct, repair, and install structural and aesthetic elements such as framing, cabinetry, and trim workStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality craftsmanshipExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and clientsPhysical stamina and manual dexterity for demanding tasks and working long hours on-siteFamiliarity with safety regulations and best practices in residential constructionHigh school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in carpentry is a plusHaving a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is requiredExperience with sustainable or eco-friendly building practices is an advantage
