Senior Accountant

Harmer is representing a fast-paced, high-growth, private equity–backed company located in the Irving/Las Colinas area. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with month-end close processes, budgeting and forecasting, and customer billing, along with a high level of organization and a proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving. ResponsibilitiesEnsure financial transactions are recorded in alignment with applicable accounting standards Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for complex accounting areas, including leases Support the annual audit process, including preparation of financial statements and related disclosures Analyze and investigate expense variances, providing insights to leadership Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to support accurate reporting and compliance Assist with special projects, including system improvements and integration of newly acquired entities Qualifications3-5+ years of progressive financial and operational accounting Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience CPA is preferred, but not required Experience with balance sheet reconciliations and lease accounting (ASC 842) Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.
