Senior Accountant

Harmer is representing a fast-paced, high-growth, private equity–backed company located in the Irving/Las Colinas area. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with month-end close processes, budgeting and forecasting, and customer billing, along with a high level of organization and a proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving.ResponsibilitiesEnsure financial transactions are recorded in alignment with applicable accounting standardsPrepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for complex accounting areas, including leasesSupport the annual audit process, including preparation of financial statements and related disclosuresAnalyze and investigate expense variances, providing insights to leadershipCollaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to support accurate reporting and complianceAssist with special projects, including system improvements and integration of newly acquired entitiesQualifications3-5+ years of progressive financial and operational accountingBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experienceCPA is preferred, but not requiredExperience with balance sheet reconciliations and lease accounting (ASC 842)Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial statement preparation.Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.For further information or resume submissions please use -
