Mid-Level Project SchedulerOur client located in Austin, Texas close to downtown is in need a of a Mid-Level Project Scheduler to work on a big mulit-year transportation project. This is an onsite direct hire opportunity.Company Profile:TransportationMid-Level Project Scheduler RoleDevelop, maintain, and manage detailed project schedules using Primavera P6Support a major transit infrastructure program, including expansion of new rail lines connecting downtown Austin to the airport and additional east-west corridorsPartner with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and deliverables across long-term infrastructure projectsMonitor project progress and update schedules to reflect actual performance and evolving project conditionsIdentify schedule risks, delays, and critical path impacts; provide mitigation strategies and recommendationsPerform schedule analysis including critical path, float, and resource loadingSupport baseline schedule development and ongoing schedule validationGenerate reports and dashboards on milestones, progress, and performance metricsParticipate in project meetings and provide scheduling insights to support decision-makingEnsure alignment with industry best practices and internal scheduling standardsManage multiple priorities within a large-scale, multi-year programMid-Level Project Scheduler Background ProfileBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field3–6 years of experience in project scheduling or project controlsStrong proficiency in Primavera P6 (required)Solid understanding of CPM scheduling, resource loading, and schedule analysis techniquesExperience in large-scale infrastructure, construction, transportation, or engineering projects preferredExposure to cost controls and earned value management (EVM) is a plusFamiliarity with tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferredStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teamsComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentBenefitsLong-term project stability (anticipated 6–8 year program timeline)Opportunity to work on a high-visibility, city-shaping infrastructure projectComprehensive medical, dental, and vision coveragePaid time off and holidaysCareer growth through involvement in large-scale transit development
