You will be working side by side with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, materials and processing, and design engineers. You will use your education and experience to develop and evaluate new and innovative technologies.In This Role You Will Identify materials and processing (M&P) related production throughput improvements, partner with engineering, operations, and M&P SMEs to develop solutions, and develop supporting test plans. Participate in day-to-day operations support by addressing quality nonconformance risks and developing corrective actions. Develop material characterization test plans to support adoption of new materials. Support contamination control initiatives Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and ProcurementTypically looking for 1+ years of professional experienceThis position requires security clearance; you must be a US Citizen for consideration.The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility located in Courtland, AL.
