As a full-time, non-exempt Specialty Pharmacy Liaison you will engage directly with patients to coordinate pharmacy services through the health system's specialty and retail pharmacy. Acting as a bridge between patients, providers, and the pharmacy, this role focuses on improving prescription capture, providing follow-up counseling, and ensuring smooth communication. Key duties include processing prior authorizations, assisting with financial aid, updating clinical data, and supporting administrative tasks. The liaison collaborates closely with the CPS Patient Care Services team and works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.Pharmacy location: Located within Holzer Health System - 100 Jackson Pike, Gallipolis, OH 45631Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm and no weekendsYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentActive Ohio state Pharmacy Technician license in good standingRecent work experience as a Pharmacy Technician, ideally in specialty or outpatient settingsSolid knowledge of medication regimens, age-specific dosing, and managed care practicesExperience supporting clinical pharmacy programs and performing administrative tasks such as prior authorizations and data entryProficient in pharmacy systems, care management platforms, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Comfortable interacting professionally with patients and providers via phone, in person, or telehealthPreferred Qualifications:PTCB/CPhTPay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment.
