Locum Tenens Pediatric Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist Opportunity (ASAP - Ongoing) We are seeking dedicated and experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM) physicians or Pediatric Hospitalists for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Charles, MO. Job Details: Start Date: ASAP - OngoingEnd Date: OngoingCoverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours Only (No Call)Shift Schedule: 9-hour shifts, primarily evening/night shifts (4 p.m. - 1 a.m.)Monthly Coverage: 15 shifts per monthPractice Setting: Outpatient and inpatient services with no inpatient rounding requiredLocation: Near Charles, MO Key Responsibilities: Patient Care: Manage 14-18 patients per shift in a fast-paced pediatric emergency department with 13 rooms and 3 hall beds.Emergency Procedures: Provide trauma care, procedural sedation, airway management, and other emergency procedures.Outpatient Focus: No inpatient rounding required; focus on pediatric emergency and hospitalist care.Collaborative Team: Work closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care for children in a supportive environment. Requirements: Board Certification:PEM fellowship-trained physicians preferred.Will consider board-certified pediatricians with ED experience (must have trauma, procedural sedation, airway management, and procedural experience).Certifications:PALS required for all providers.ATLS required unless PEM trained.Licensing: Active Missouri medical license required.EMR System: Experience with Epic is preferred.Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated at 60-90 days.
