RNs with CHI St. Alexius function as a vital member of the healthcare team who contributes to the success by demonstrating customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism, and teamwork. This individual will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.**What you'll do:**+ Accountable for all Registered Nurse duties and responsibilities as well as the following duties and responsibilities.+ Demonstrates knowledge of unit standards of care, staff competencies, and individual patient care needs in facilitation proper patient placement and patient care assignments.+ Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams, including care coordination, physicians, and management, using and promoting effective communication strategies to meet inter-and intra-departmental needs.+ Actively role models and coaches the behaviors associated with leadership and assist others in developing their skills and knowledge.+ Successfully completes the defined job specific competencies, including competencies for age specific, as appropriate.**Skills:**+ Demonstrates ability to organize personnel assignments and activities for others for the overall benefit of the unit.+ Working knowledge of clinical skills in delivery of patient care.+ Demonstrates proficiency in unit and the ability to function efficiently during crisis.+ Basic Life Support Certification within the orientation period and meets re-certification as required.**Work Agreement:**+ FTE Status - PRN - .01 FTE+ Shift Type - varies+ Shift Length - 8 & 12 Hrs+ On Call Expectations - none+ Weekend/Holiday Frequency - none**Job Requirements**We invite you to join CHI St. Alexius today and experience nursing with us!**MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED**Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state.Experience: At least two (2) years clinical experience within specialty area preferred.**\#LI-CHI****Where You'll Work**Since 1885, CHI St. Alexius Health has been dedicated to leading health care in this region by enriching the lives of patients through the highest quality of care.
