WOUND CARE NURSE (RN) - Full TimeShift: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PMLocation: Jamaica Hospital Medical CenterJamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Wound Care Nurse (RN) with current wound care certification (WCC, CWCN, CWOCN, or equivalent) to join our busy inpatient Wound Care & Pressure Injury Reduction Program.The Wound Care Services RN plays a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based wound care that ensures the safety and well-being of all patients.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate daily clinical operations within the Wound Care/Pressure Reduction Program.Manage nursing and technical care for patients receiving wound treatment.Provide direct patient care as needed.Maintain and uphold standards of professional nursing practice.Promote the use of wound-care and clinical practice guidelines across all professional levels.Prioritize and triage resources to ensure timely, high-quality care delivery.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and respond promptly to internal care requests.Tagged as: cwcn, cwocn, WCCRequirementsActive New York State RN license (BSN strongly preferred)Formal wound-care certification (CWCN, WCC, CWS, or equivalent)1-2 years of acute-care or medical-surgical RN experience.Previous wound-care and/or ostomy-care experience.Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.Current BLS certification and ongoing CEs in wound care
