Our experienced team of consultants, designers and project managers make it easy to select, arrange and install solutions.  Position Overview:The Staff Accountant supports the accuracy and integrity of the company’s financials through general ledger activity, reconciliations, and compliance processes. This role is a key contributor to the monthly close and financial reporting process and will work closely with the Controller and accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial information.This position is designed to grow into increased ownership over reconciliations, close processes, and compliance responsibilities over time. The Staff Accountant will also assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements, including the use of automation and AI tools to improve efficiency within the accounting function.Compensation: $60,000–$70,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Key Responsibilities:General Ledger & Month-End ClosePrepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and adjustments.Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes to support accurate financial reporting.Maintain and organized and accurate supporting documentation for all accounting activities.Payroll & HR SupportSupport payroll processing and related reconciliations to ensure accuracy.Assist with payroll-related journal entries and reporting.Support HR-related accounting activities, including benefits tracking and related reconciliations.Compliance & Regulatory FilingsPrepare and file sales and use tax returns with accuracy and timeliness.Assist with business licensing requirements and renewals across all locations.Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.Audit & Financial SupportAssist with audit preparation by gathering documentation and preparing schedules.Support financial reporting and analysis as needed.Research and resolve accounting discrepancies under the guidance of the Controller.Process Improvement & SystemsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and increase efficiencies.Support system enhancements and automation initiatives within our ERP and related tools.Assist in exploring and implementing AI-driven solutions to streamline accounting workflows and reporting.Collaboration & SupportWork closely with AR and AP functions to ensure accurate and complete financial data.Provide support across accounting functions as needed to maintain workflow continuity.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred.1–3 years of accounting experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.Understanding of basic accounting principles, including general ledger and reconciliations.Experience with ERP systems (Hedberg experience a plus) and Microsoft Excel.Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.Ability to learn quickly, take ownership, and work in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
