Title: Costumer, Collegium Center Stage Theater Jr. (CCST Jr.)Reports To: CCST Jr. Director/Performing Arts Center CoordinatorSupervises: N/AEmployee Type: Part-Time/SeasonalSummaryCCST Jr. Costumer provides administrative and creative support to the CCST Jr. Director throughout the production of the CCST Jr. Spring Musical. The successful candidate will participate in creating and maintaining a professional climate that promotes student growth. The Costumer will assist with all costuming and costume based props as needed. They will assist with the upkeep of CCST/CCST Jr. owned costume pieces and when a costume is not currently within the program's stock will either help with its creation or finding a suitable and financially responsible rental option.Job ResponsibilitiesThis list is intended to be illustrative rather than complete and serves to show major duties and responsibilities and does not express or imply that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee in this position. Manufactures, tracks, and organizes all CCST costuming materials. Works with Production Manager and Assistant Director to ensure all cast costumes areplanned and available at appropriate times as indicated by the PAC Coordinator. Attends and assists with scheduled rehearsals pertaining to costuming.Qualifications Experience with theatrical productions (plays and musicals) as both a performer and aProduction Team Member Preferred But Not Required. Ability to read, analyze, and costume scenes from a theatrical work as needed. Ability to work as part of a production team and maintain a professional workingenvironment. Ability to adequately and effectively communicate and collaborate with other productionteam members, students, parents, and all other stakeholders to ensure student safetyand success.
