Network Analyst
Overview
In this contract-to-hire role, you will support DoD networking operations across multiple teams, focusing on incident management and secure network provisioning. You will work in a 24/7 environment serving a DoD WAN and ACS clients, aligning with a mission to ensure reliability and security of critical communications. You’ll diagnose outages, configure and maintain routers, firewalls and telephony systems, and collaborate with stakeholders to sustain performance and security. This position offers meaningful impact by maintaining essential network services across layered security domains.

ResponsibilitiesConduct network incident investigationsIdentify and document network errors and solutionsAnalyze network and telecom alarms to preempt issuesConfigure, test, install, troubleshoot, and maintain network devices (firewalls, cryptographic devices, routers) for performance and securityConfigure and maintain voice/video systems and telecommunication trunks (phone units, voicemail, switches, Call Manager, VTC)Support remote monitoring and management of WAN using client toolsServe as liaison between DoD DISA and customerDocument outages and service degradations in TMS Remedy
Key requirementsHigh School Diploma1-3+ years of relevant technical disciplineDoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent)Active Secret security clearanceAbility to work in a 24/7 shift environmentExperience with routers, switches, crypto devices, and related networking technologiesUnderstanding of network topologies (transport and IP)Strong written and verbal communicationAbility to deliver information to customers at all levelsTeam collaboration in a cross-functional environmentNetwork engineeringRoutersFirewalls
