Reporting to the Head of Finance & Performance Operations, this role is ideal for an analyst with strong technical fundamentals who enjoys working close to the numbers and helping teams understand how the business is performing.This role will spend most of the time on daily KPI reporting, month-end close support, budgeting, forecasting, and operating expense management, while also contributing analytical insights to support leaders across marketing, sales, operations, and product.This is a hands-on role with meaningful exposure to senior leadership and a strong opportunity to grow into a more strategic analytics role over time.Responsibilities:Performance Reporting & KPI ManagementOwn and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting across business KPIsMonitor business performance to identify trends, variances, and anomalies -- proactively surfacing risks and opportunitiesInvestigate data anomalies and reporting discrepancies, partnering with Data, Product, and business teams to identify root causes and ensure timely correction and data integritySupport the development and ongoing maintenance of standardized dashboards and recurring reportsEnsure consistency and accuracy across financial and operational reporting used by leadershipProvide clear, concise summaries of performance results to support decision-makingFinancial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)Support monthly close processes, including variance analysis versus budget and forecastAssist with annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting for sales and operating expensesPartner with department leaders on opex planning, tracking, and cost managementPrepare financial models, analyses, and reporting to support leadership reviewsLearn, manage, and become the subject matter expert and primary owner of Datarails, supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reportingBusiness & Operational SupportProvide analytical and financial support to cross-functional partners in marketing, sales, operations, and productHelp answer ad hoc business questions using structured financial and data analysisAssist in the preparation of materials for leadership, board reviews, and investor reportingPartner with Data team to improve reporting efficiency, scalability, and usabilityIdentify opportunities to incorporate AI-enabled tools and workflows into processes and work productsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Analytics, or a related field4 - 7 years of experience in FP&A, finance, analytics, or a related roleStrong foundation in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAdvanced Excel skills (financial modeling, pivot tables, lookups); SQL experience is a plusExperience building and maintaining dashboards, KPIs, and recurring performance reportingSystems-oriented and comfortable learning new software tools, with the ability to quickly understand workflows and leverage technology to improve finance and reporting processesCollaborative and relational, able to work effectively across functions and build strong partnerships with stakeholders throughout the organizationStrong attention to detail with the ability to clearly explain financial and operational resultsComfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environmentOrganized, proactive, and accountable problem solverFurnished Finder is an equal opportunity employer.
