Financial Analyst – Real Estate | FP&A & Asset Management Austin, TX (On-site/Hybrid)About the RoleThis is a portfolio-facing finance seat for someone who wants to understand the full economics of a real estate asset, not just close the books. You will work across FP&A, Real Estate Finance, and Asset Management to analyze how properties perform, how capital gets deployed, and how the story gets told to leadership and investors.What You'll DoPortfolio Financial Analysis – Own P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet trend analysis across the REIT's hotel assetsAsset Performance Analytics – Evaluate hotel-level performance, identify drivers, and surface actionable insightsROI & Return Analysis – Support operations and capital decision-making with rigorous return metricsFinancial Modeling – Build and maintain models for acquisitions, dispositions, and strategic initiativesExecutive & Board Reporting – Prepare materials for leadership, Board of Directors, and quarterly earnings/investor reportingCross-Functional Partnership – Collaborate closely with Accounting, Operations, and Revenue ManagementWhat We're Looking For1–3 years of FP&A experience (required)3–5 years total experience in finance, with real estate or hospitality industry exposure strongly preferredAdvanced Excel skills (financial modeling, scenario analysis, data manipulation)Experience with P&L ownership, variance analysis, and operational partnershipStrong communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leadership and external stakeholdersBachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Accounting, or related fieldWhy This RoleHigh-visibility seat with direct exposure to executive leadership and the BoardBlend of strategic finance, real estate analytics, and operational partnershipOpportunity to influence capital allocation decisions across a dynamic hospitality portfolio
