Position Details: Schedule: Monday and Wednesday: 1 pm - 9:30 pm (8 hours, 30 minutes dinner break) Off Thursday Friday: 7 pm - 7:30 am (12 hours) Saturday: 7 pm - 7:30 am (12 hours) Off Sunday Additional hours available if willing (OT to start at 50 hours) Patient Volume: 20-30 patients Surgical Cases: 3-7 per day Background: Strong laparoscopic, open, and robotics experience required Minimum 3 years of surgical inpatient and robotics experience EMR: Epic Work Autonomously: Yes Facility Details: Operating Rooms: 14 General Surgeons in Practice: 8 Supervising Physician: Available at all times but not necessarily on-site Required Duties: As a General Surgery APP, your duties will include: Pre-op physical exams Suture removal Diagnosing and treating illnesses Ordering and interpreting tests Assisting in surgery Writing prescriptions Coordination of care Submission Requirements: For PAs: NCCPA required For NPs: RNFA & FNP required NY License: Required Experience: Minimum 3 years in and out of the OR (no new grads) Background: Clean background with no malpractice required for quick start Robotics Proficiency: Must be proficient in Da Vinci Robotics Si and Xi and certified Location: Local candidates within driving distance highly preferred Certification Requirements: ACLS BLS NCCPA (for PAs) RNFA and FNP (for NPs) State License Requirements: New York Join Our Surgery Excellence!
