Engineering Manager - building voice AI infrastructure 📍 Onsite/San Francisco I am seeking an Engineering Manager to join a fast-growing AI company building conversational AI systems for some of the world’s largest financial institutions. This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing engineering team working on real-time AI infrastructure operating at enterprise scale in highly regulated environments.What You’ll Do:Lead and scale a high-performing engineering team in a fast-paced, high-growth environmentEstablish KPIs, performance metrics, 1:1 structures, and review processes across engineeringPartner closely on technical direction, architecture decisions, and engineering strategyDrive compliance and security initiatives including SOC 2 Type II, PCI DSS, and enterprise security programsCo-own incident response and on-call operations for a real-time production platformRemain hands-on technically by contributing code across tooling, dashboards, infrastructure, and developer productivity systemsWhat We’re Looking For:Experience leading engineering teams through early-stage hypergrowthTrack record of scaling engineering organizations meaningfully (e.g. 5→15 or 10→25)Strong Software engineering background with the ability to contribute technically and lead systems discussionsExperience working closely with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, PCI DSS, or ISO 27001Ability to operate effectively in high-ownership, fast-moving environmentsExperience operating production systems requiring high reliability and operational rigorYou’ll help build AI systems already powering millions of real customer interactions for major financial institutions.
