Civil Engineer

The Civil Engineer will support site planning and design for commercial, institutional, and retail projects, including site layout, grading, erosion control, stormwater management, and utilities. This role involves collaboration with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies throughout all project phases from concept through construction across multiple U.S. locations. Candidates should be based in the Midwest region. Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with clients and project teams on design and development.Research site conditions and local jurisdiction requirements.Conduct site visits and verify field conditions.Coordinate with regulatory agencies and multidisciplinary teams.Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and project documentation.Support permitting, scheduling, and consultant coordination.Assist with construction administration, including contractor support and site inspections.Review third-party civil drawings for accuracy and compliance.Qualifications & SkillsKnowledge of land development regulations and permitting processes.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.Ability to manage multiple projects independently and as part of a team.Willingness to travel and perform fieldwork on active sites.Requirements5+ years of civil/site development experienceBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringActive P.E. license in at least one U.S. state
