Lab Desktop Engineer

Job Summary: Perform desktop support for R&D laboratories- Windows 11 migration from 7 and 10- Interact with Scientists and Vendors to upgrade older operating systems to Windows 11 or 10 LTE- Perform various computer, equipment, and software support tasks in a Research & Development laboratory environment- Document incident resolution steps and create knowledge base articles- Utilize ticketing systems such as JIRA and IRIS to update and complete tasks- Utilize network monitoring tools to analyze traffic patterns and identify potential security threats- Computer moves, adds and changes- Configured and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches to support network segmentation initiativesQualifications:- Well rounded desktop support background- Experience supporting laboratory environments- Pharmaceutical (or other regulated) industry experience- Windows 11 migration experience- Detail oriented- Proficiency with MS Excel and MS Teams
